Stotherts 2nds 45pts Kingswood 2nds 0pts With Stotherts league game cancelled, Kingswood stepped in to fill the vacancy and although they started well and competed throughout, Stotherts proved to strong overall and ran out convincing winners with a good overall team performance. Stotherts tries came from Sheldon Hibberd, Dave Peacock, Sam Cox, Ryan Jordan (2), Joe Paisley and Mark Solomon with Cox adding 3 conversions and Kai Emmett converting two.

COMBINATION CUP MATCH v AVONVALE AWARDED TO CRANES

The combination match that was abandoned last Tuesday against Avonvale due to a serious injury to a Vale player has been awarded to Stotherts by the combination cup committee Stotherts were winning 19-0 after 30 minutes when the match was abandoned The semi final away to Combe Down has to be arranged The final at The Rec is to played on Wednesday 25th April Tony Adams 10th April

CRANES VICTORIOUS IN COLOGNE

32 Cranes tourists left Corston on a 31 seater coach with no toilet bound for Cologne in Germany on Good Friday after savouring the delights of a full 5:00am English breakfast at the Archways Cafe who sponsored the tour leisure wear. Liquid a plenty was sampled on route to Dover but the 'grapevine' tells me that the French police were not happy for the import of Le Natch. Full report to follow if Le Natch cleared customs or entered quarantine Victories were recorded on Easter Saturday by 58pts -19pts and Easter Sunday by 46pts - 26pts. The local Cologne constabulary have been brought in to help in the search for some tourists eyebrows that have mysteriously dissapeared

COMBINATION CUP MATCH v AVONVALE ABANDONED

The combination match against Avonvale played on Tuesday was abandoned after 33 minutes of the first half due to a potential serious neck injury to an Avonvale player. Stotherts were winning 19-0 at that point playing against the slope and had already scored three excellent tries After 30 minutes on pitch first aid and ambulance attendance the referee deemed the match abandoned. The injured player eventually walked to the ambulance parked in the car park - showered and went home If the match is to be replayed information will be posted on the web site

PITTFEST 2012 tickets are on sale NOW!!!!!! you can now buy tickets online just click on the link below! http://www.pittfest.co.uk/ PITTFEST 2012 is taking place on Saturday 9th June with the fun starting from midday and going on until the early hour of the morning. This music festival and family-fun day is increasingly popular and this years event promises to be the biggest and the best to date so don�t miss it! The kids will be well entertained with: �FREE face painting bouncy castle and ice cream�.. �.leaving the adults to enjoy the: Cider Tent � serving a fantastic range of local ciders and real ales as well as our own infamous cocktail creations. Hog Roast and some great, great live music. Tickets for this years event are: �8 early bird before April 14th �10 in ADVANCE �15 on the gate on the day. Under 12′s enter free with a full paying adult (limited to two U12s per adult). Camping is available onsite for an additional �1 per person. The gates will be open from 9am on Saturday.
